School visits are one of the best parts of my job. With every group of kids my goal is to celebrate creativity with confidence.

We talk about how art is everywhere and wonder about what "being an artist" means. We explore the process of making picture books, from sketching out ideas, to experimenting with different materials, to making final illustrations.

I offer in-person and virtual artist visits at schools, libraries, co-op groups, and other events for groups Pre-K – Grade 5. 

My presentations are structured for small classrooms (12-20 students) and larger groups (20-50 students). I will read one of the books I have illustrated, have a Q&A, and we will do an engaging, age-appropriate art activity together.​
